We offer a range of beds styles upholstered in a wide variety of materials including designer fabric, stunning leather and faux fur. Our expert craftsmen can make a bespoke piece of pet furniture to meet your exact requirements. You can choose exactly what you want in terms of size, design, style, feet, legs, covers…it’s all up to you or you can leave it to us! Along with all of this choice is one thing that stays the same: each bed is not only handmade to be the perfect size and style for your dog or cat, it is also intended to be a design feature that fits in wonderfully with your home décor.  

A Pet Bed from James Erskine Interiors is the perfect way to treat your dog or cat with superb comfort and rather a large dash of elegance. This doesn’t mean they aren’t practical though; all our beds are made with detachable washable cushion covers for optimum convenience, and we can tailor-make the bed to the perfect size for your home. We have a wealth of experience with upholstery and soft furnishings. It is this knowledge that we will use when creating your bespoke pet furniture. You can even have your quality suite reupholstered and have a pet bed made in the same fabric! Pet Beds can also be made to look like foot stools.

Prices start from £195 for a small bed but a consultation is needed for accurate price estimates.

More About Pets and Our Bespoke Pet Beds

The fine people of Britain are renowned for being animal lovers; in 2008, there were 27 million pets in the UK with 43% of the population sharing their homes with a pet. Dogs and cats come top of the list of most popular pets, and pet industry trends show that we see nothing wrong with a little bit of pampering for our pussycats and pooches!

At James Erskine Interiors, we make it our mission to ensure your bespoke furniture is both ideal in style for your home, and perfect in size and comfort for your pet.

Our staff can help you in more detail, but we advise the following:-

1. Decide if your dog or cat is mini, small, medium or large in size.

2. Measure the space your dog/cat occupies when sleeping. Allow an extra 5-8 inches around your pet on each side. (And if you have a puppy/kitten, find out what size you can expect your pet to grow to).

3. Be sure to measure the space your pet takes up when fully stretched out too. After all, you want the bed to be as comfortable as possible for when your dog or cat lies in all positions!

4. Also consider whether your dog/cat prefers to lie curled up in a ball or to lean against something, as this will affect the style of bed that you should choose.
